Hi anointed ones,

Hope today finds you happy and well!

In order to walk closely with God it is necessary to keep our eyes firmly fixed upon Christ and His Kingdom purposes. Are the things of God at the forefront of your thinking? Are you willing to surrender to His will and to be obedient today?

God has a appointed a perfect time for everything to be done and everything has it’s due season.

New International Version
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens

My question to you today is, are you focused on the right activities today? The activities God has assigned for this day? Spend just a few moments in prayer today and ask God to realign your heart to His will and purposes today.

Be blessed,

Sister B

Don’t Hold Back!

boldness, jealousy, obedience, opposition

Hello, dear believers,

Today I want to encourage you not to hold back in giving your all for the cause of Christ. God has designed you and given amazing gifts to be used to advance the Kingdom of God. You are thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Morning by morning as we spend time with God in prayer, He reveals direction for our day. When we leave the secret place we should then go out and do exactly what He showed during our quiet time. Blessings abound in our life when we step out in faith and begin to obey all God is putting in or hearts to do. Don’t let fear stop you. Be bold and very courageous. Obey even the small things, which often lead to bigger.

When we do obey God and good things begin to happen in our lives, it may be that we come across people who are jealous and resent the favor of God shining upon us. How do we deal with these people? My usual response is to encourage them in their own gifting and point out to them what I can clearly see God is doing in their lives. God blesses all His children and is always at work in all our lives but sometimes we do not see how blessed we actually are! This approach, however, does not always work and if not then you just have to withdraw from them. You cannot allow their negativity to stop you fulfilling your own guidance. You do not need their approval to walk in God’s call. Whatever the response of others, do not stop obeying God and in no way hold back in the use of your gift. Fear God, not man.

Be blessed today,

Sister B

What I’ve Been Up To this Week

creativity, fear, quit your job, weekly chats

I have been getting used to and loving being at home after quitting my office job as an Employment Advisor in mid February and this is now my fifth week on sick leave one more to go. I was on sick leave for back and neck pain and anxiety, all symptomatic of severe stress. I am winding down slowly and feel God is restoring me but it is taking time. I have been having trouble sleeping even though I am tired, but at least my back and neck pain is subsiding and  things are slowly coming into order. Some days I have loads of energy, others I have none.  I am trying to listen to my body and listen to it cues rather than override them. Rest and replenishment are lessons I need to learn, so that I can be more fruitful into the future.

I still cannot believe I quit my job! It feels too good to be true that I am being paid to relax, recover and restore. God’s grace. I have been writing lots, praying, decluttering, sewing, singing and playing music, walking and painting with watercolor, and the odd visit or social thing here and there. My girls love me being at home too!

On Monday I bought 12 items of clothing for 150.00 from Target, all that mix and match for our trip. Everything goes with everything else and have I the capsule wardrobe I was praying for all after shopping for 30 mins. Did I mention they were all on the same rack? God knew I didn’t have the energy to shop for it all so He had all together before I got there. Even a hat, which is reversible! The same day 4 handmade necklaces I bought from Ebay came as well, to match. I have my own personal stylist, God the Holy Spirit.

Yesterday I went to the library for the first time in years and I found 2 travel guides on Israel/Jerusalem. Later on at my daughter’s school continental I found an artist’s palette for 1.00. Saw my former manager there and wanted to go home and avoid bumping into her, but stayed when my friend Aimee came and kept me company.

In spite of many blessings of His grace and much confirmation about my resignation, I still find fear raises its ugly head at times. Mainly because I have no clue what I am going to do next in order to earn an income, also don’t want to look a fool before others(pride). God has shown me to prophesy in the face of my fears! He is my provider and guide.

Looking forward to my trip to Greece and Israel and there is only 35 days before takeoff!

Have a blessed week,

Bev

On Being Led By The Spirit

grace, guidance, Holy Spirit, prosperity

Hello believers,

Well, the bible tells us that the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and just what does this mean to us in our everyday life? Can God lead us even in our daily activities, working, playing, even shopping? Will He advise us on our finances? Will He help us to find the perfect birthday gift? Can He help us put an outfit together, etc, etc? Yes, yes, yes.

God is interested in everything that concerns you and is intimately involved in your life. He is a very present help, He even numbers every hair on your head! God cares for you and has provided in abundance for all your needs. Seek first the kingdom of God and let His generosity flow to you an through you to others.

Prosperity is having enough to do God’s will at any given moment of time. I have found that as I lift my heart to Him each day and seek to follow the gentle leading of the Holy Spirit, amazing things, confirmations and little signs let me know I am on the right track.

Life in Christ is meant to be a inspired adventure, abundant in meaning, where He show the exceeding riches of His grace through your life. In all things you are cared for and sustained by His power. He is near.

So walk forth confidently today and enjoy the blessing of being guided through it all and at the end of the day, don’t forget to thank Him for all the many blessings He has bestowed upon you.

Blessings to you,

Sister B
